Remote Subscriber Voice and Internet

In many rural areas, the telephone company does not have copper or fiber lines installed all the way to the subscriber's home. This solution allows a telephone company to both offer Title II voice and Internet services to their subscribers, and to meets its Federal and State requirements to provide services to these customers without the expensive construct costs for fiber.

Cellular Backhaul

With this option, mobile phone providers can locate cellular towers in areas that can not be reached by fiber or microwave. We provide connectivity from your terrestrial network to the remote tower. The tower may be temporary, such as for a special event. Modern cell towers need to support 3G/4G LTE type services with voice and data. Typical speeds to a tower are 2-25 Mb/s but can be configured as high as 100Mb/s.

PBX/Voice Backup

This solution allows a local PBX or phone switch to have a redundant path to keep phone calls working in the event of an outage. If traditional landlines should fail (Analogue/POTS or T1/PRI circuits), this solution will automatically redirect phone calls over the satellite link. This solution scales from 1-500 simultaneous phone calls and can be adapted to phone switches of any size.

Independent Phones

This solution gives a company the ability to have a phone that is separate from the local PBX/phone switch. The primary benefit of this solution is having a phone that is not reliant on or connected to the PBX. This may be for security reasons, political reasons, or to give the user the ability to make calls whenever the PBX is unavailable (due to maintenance, upgrades, or downtime). The independent phone provides both inbound and outbound calls and can be configured with a variety of features such as voicemail, forwarding, etc.

Satellite Phones

Small handsets enable users to make and receive phone calls in the event of a localized phone outage. Handsets have their own phone numbers and behave similarly to cellular phones, without requiring any infrastructure to work, so you can continue to communicate in the wake of a natural disaster or outage.

Hardline and Independent Phones

Some organizations require hardline desktop phones that can be used in the event of any outage. In this case, the handset is connected directly to a satellite terminal, and will work even in the event of complete power loss by the facility, a network outage, or a local PBX failure.

Independent phones can be configured with useful features such as voicemail and call forwarding.

Remote Hotspot

Our solution allows the customer to add a significant amount of bandwidth to support a WiFi hotspot. A typical scenario for this solution would be to setup a public WiFi hotspot allowing customers to access the Internet. In a corporate use case, it may be a companies disaster response team who needs to setup a camp to process insurance claims.

Mobile Command Centers

X2nSat offers specialty emergency trailers that can act as quickly deployed mobile command centers for communications in a variety of temporary situations. The trailers are self contained, including a generator in the event there is no power available on site. Typical use cases include construction sites, emergency responder mobile command centers, forest fire camps, disaster aid stations, humanitarian camps, special events like music concerts, as well as other temporary locations that require high speed voice and Internet. The units are small enough to be towed by a small SUV or lifted by a helicopter.
